UNSW SDG Challenge - 2023

The UNSW Founders SDG Challenge pushed students to use the UN Sustainable Development Goals to solve real problems for one of two partners (Taronga Zoo Conservation Society or the Poverty & Inequality Partnership). Working in multidisciplinary teams, students were required to go from challenge to solution in a single day. Earners of this badge are agile learners who have demonstrated an ability to apply both new skills, such as design thinking and pitching, and sustainability principles.

Earning Criteria

Be a UNSW Student. This is a free program for UNSW Students.
Attend the entire duration of the hackathon, including participation in workshops and Pitch Night.
Write and present a 3-minute pitch presentation intended for a non-academic auidence to articulate a viable busines model & value of proposed solution.
