School of Population Health: Excellence in HDR mentoring award

The UNSW School of Population Health awards recognise excellence in teaching, research, service and engagement. This award is conferred to staff employed in the UNSW School of Population Health. Recipients of the Excellence in HDR mentoring award have demonstrated excellence through a sustained commitment to providing quality mentorship to Higher Degree Research candidates enrolled in the School of Population Health.

Earning Criteria

  • Awarded annually. The award is for excellence demonstrated in the previous 12 months (1 July – 30 June). Staff may self-nominate, or a SPH staff member (including managers) may nominate a colleague from within the School. HDR candidates may nominate their SPH supervisor. The nominator submits a written application detailing how the nominee has demonstrated excellence. Applications are assessed by a panel including: Head of School, Director (or Deputy Director) of Research or PCG and an external.
