Radio Frequency Radiation Safety Officer Level 2 is the progression of the RFRSO course. This course provides knowledge of radio frequency (RF) radiation safety practices and legislative requirements for (i) personnel with management responsibility for radio transmitting devices and (ii) personnel with more general health and safety responsibilities for workplaces where radio transmitters are present.

By completing the UNSW Canberra RFRSO Level 2 course, you have gained competencies in RF transmitters and introduction to radar, Biological effects of EMR, RF radiation safety management, and the Australian RF exposure standard RPS S-1.
