The Dean of Science Staff Excellence Awards are annual awards that celebrate and recognise standout achievements and contributions of our staff. The Early Career Excellence award celebrates early career staff who have demonstrated excellence in their field. Early career staff are generally defined as those within 7 years of entering the workforce (or completing their PhD, if academic).

Early career staff are generally defined as those within 7 years of entering the workforce (or completing their PhD, if academic). Demonstrated activities may include excellence in teaching, program development, program delivery, publishing, research impact, technical innovation support, process or system improvements, improvements to training, health, and safety.
