Advanced Systems Engineering (SE) course aims to provide attendees with an advanced understanding of the concept and application of SE across a variety of industries. This course will actively develop participants' understanding of requirements engineering, the processes they undertake as part of the acquisition phase of the system lifecycle, the role and use of Verification and Validation (V&V) in realising capable systems, and the management of SE and variations on the standard SE processes.

Earning Criteria

By completing the UNSW Canberra Advanced System Engineering course, you have gained competencies in realising capable systems, undertaking processes a part of conceptual and preliminary design activities, the use of Test and Evaluation (T&E) as a part of a wider V&V program, the overarching management of SE processes throughout the system lifecycle, and variations on the standard SE methodologies including Model Based SE and Agile SE.
