Outcomes of this CPD are to: Identify component parts and function of wood turning lathes. Work with a range of basic wood turning tools. Prepare and setup material in lathe for turning between centres. Prepare and setup material in lathe for faceplate turning. Demonstrate how to shape and finish material. Develop skills and knowledge of safe working practices.
