Graduates of the MSc in Statistical Science (Specialisation in Data Science) at the University of the Western Cape can identify, formulate and solve business problems using appropriate qualitative and quantitative tools. Graduates effectively apply business intelligence techniques to manage data, including data preparation and cleaning for the purposes of querying, reporting and further data analysis using advanced statistical tools, such as SAS.
