This Deakin Hallmark recognises students who have demonstrated exceptional achievements in entrepreneurial thinking, including having demonstrated the capacity to create value for themselves or others through the commercialisation of an idea. This award recognises that entrepreneurial thinking is important to the competitiveness of organisations in our globalised and face-paced economy.

Earning Criteria

To receive this Deakin Hallmark, Deakin students must submit a digital portfolio, written reflection and video pitch that provide compelling evidence of having met the Hallmark standards.

Achievement of the Hallmark was judged by a panel of experts including representatives from Deakin’s entrepreneurial ecosystem and other experienced entrepreneurs.

The Criteria and Standards for this Deakin Hallmark were developed with and have been endorsed by representatives from Cyrise, Muru-D, EduGrowth, Tali Health, Moxie Reader, Geelong Chamber of Commerce, Techstars, Dimension Data, Startmate and Amazon Web Services, SPARK Deakin and ManuFutures.
